Re: Reading #7
Ooooh a book a poetry would be nice. Suggestions?
I've been thinking about Siddhartha, by Hermann Hesse. The story seems like a good one for summer...a foray into the Eastern Wonderland.
"Neither a practitioner nor a devotee, neither meditating nor reciting, Siddhartha comes to blend in with the world, resonating with the rhythms of nature, bending the reader's ear down to hear answers from the river. "
I also plan to read some Jane Austen and Emily or Charlotte Bronte works this summer to get all warmed up for England if anyone is interested....and The Secret Garden too!

The Inner East
Ah yes--I could most positively go for an episode of Siddartha. A foray into the foreign spiritual land would be good for my mind. Poetry--maybe soemthing from the Beat era? I feel like early summer would be an excellent time for stirring up minds...And I agree with the reading something from "your country". Something Scottish--hmmm. I think I'll have to stick to the mystery: Arthus Conan Doyle might be my summer reading project.
